Master classes
Concept
The Brussels-Europe Liaison Office, representing the Brussels government, together with the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Université Libre de Bruxelles launched a new educational and training initiative 'Masterclasses: Brussels for Europe', designed specifically for staff of the European institutions or international organisations.
Based on the very latest interdisciplinary urban research, this high quality programme will tackle the historical, social, cultural, political, geographical and economic dimensions of Brussels. It will give participants a unique opportunity to understand current developments and forces driving Brussels urban dynamics as well as to broaden their vision of the city in which they live and work. In an informal atmosphere, renowned experts in the field will assist participants in enhancing their ties with different sectors and actors of the city and in exploring new paths within the daily urban life. The programme consists of a series of lectures, events and side visits.

The next session will start in February 2013 and is in French. Please dowload the programme programme_masterclass_february_2013.pdf for more details.
