The Kidsgazette www.kidsgazette.be is a quarterly cultural calendar in which you can find all the fun children’s activities in Brussels. The Kidsgazette is trilingual and available free of charge in various locations in Brussels.

To find out about activities in your neighbourhood, contact your municipality’s youth service.

There are about 200 officially -approved homework schools (Ecoles de Devoirs) in the French-speaking sector of Brussels. They offer education support and cultural activities after school hours to children aged 6 to 18.  For more information, visit www.cedd-bxl.be or www.paluche.org.

During the school holidays, various organisations run summer camps and playgroups. More information on www.centres-de-vacances.be or www.ideji.be/ideji-animations-pour-les-enfants.lasso.

For youth activities in the Dutch-speaking sector of Brussels, the Commission of the Flemish Community (Vlaamse Gemeenschapscommissie, VGC) is the best source of information. The VGC’s youth service publishes a free youth guide in Dutch (Jeugdgids Brussel). You can order it or download it from the website www.vgc.be/jeugd. The VGC’s sports service has information on sports associations in the Dutch-speaking sector. You can ask for a copy of the sport guide (Sportgids) or download it from the website www.vgc.be/sport. The VGC also provides information on playgrounds in Brussels on the website http://speelpleinen.vgc.be/.
