Activities

The main activity of the Brussels-Europe Liaison Office is to provide administrative assistance to European expats that settle in Brussels. We help them with all practical problems they may have and provide information about daily life in this city.

Living in Brussels involves more than just finding an apartment and registering in the commune, it also means that you try to understand and experience the city, which is why the BELO created "Discover Brussels" : an high-quality introduction to Brussels.

Staff members of the European institutions that have been living here for a while and want to broaden their knowledge of Brussels, can register for the Master Classes "Brussels for Europe".

We also regularly organise excursions that will broaden your outlook on Brussels, guided tours to Brussels exhibitions and seminars on typical Brussels topics.

In addition, the BELO also organises debates and awareness-raising campaigns aimed at various target groups (young people, expats, etc.). Brussels schools can sign up for your GPS rally in the European District.

Every two years, the BELO organises training sessions for the administrative staff of the Brussels municipalities.

Furthermore, the BELO helps regional representations with the opening of offices in Brussels.
